"A trip to Jamaica" has become a top-grossing Nollywood film in 2016

AY Makun has released the trailer for his upcoming movie"A Trip to Jamaica," in common work with Nollywood and Hollywood.

This comedy film is a subsequel movie, which was shot after the popular movie "30 Days in Atlanta," which was released in 2014.

It was produced by Makun, and there are many adventures of Akpors in “A Trip to Jamaica"  

This film was shot in Nigeria, America and Jamaica, the film tells us the story about Akpos (AY) and his Fiancée Bola (Funke Akindele), who travels across the Atlantic Ocean, trying to visit family. But they suddenly fall on an adventure they could never imagine in their lives.

In this comedy film there are many Hollywood stars as: Eric Roberts and Dan Davies, Jamaica actors Paul Campbell and Rebecca Silvera, Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh and Nigerian actors: Makun, Funke Akindele, Nse Ikpe Etim, Patoranking, Cynthia Morgan and Ras Kimono.

According to words of Ayo Makun, the movie turned out very laughable and lively. As it was shot in Lagos, Atlanta and Montego Bay in Jamaica, there presented an all-star cast from Nigeria, Ghana, America and Jamaica.

“After the success of ‘30 Days In Atlanta’ there were a lot of calls for more so we decided to do a spinoff to showcase further adventures of Akpos,” the director said.

"A Trip to Jamaica" premieres on September 30, 2016.
