Eid-el-kabir 2016 – new dates

The federal government announced Monday and Tuesday, September 12 and 13 as the days off for Eid el Kabir celebration. This message was read on behalf of Federal government. The application was signed by the fixed speech by secretary in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Muhammadu Maccido. The minister ordered to all Muslims and Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari in general. He appealed to everyone to unite with president in his long and strenuous efforts to develop economy and to accelerate economic revival progress.

The minister told that the government knew about current economic problems, which the country faces. However, he guarantees that corresponding actions are taken to solve these problems. The minister also declared that the Federal government works on recovering agricultural sector and Youth Empowerment Scheme in the field of Information and communication technologies (ICT).

Gen. Dambazau also said that other spheres of activity of the government including recently entered ‘The Change Begins With Me’ program began the work. According to him, the essence of the program consists in revaluation. He also declared that the government began other social intervention programs and also large capital unblocking to recover economy. The minister expressed the idea that current economic difficulties will be finished soon. He convinced Nigerians to continue to support the government on the way to construction of new Nigeria. The minister wished to all Nigerians happy celebration of Eid-el-Kabir. Meanwhile, Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III was attacked by several Christian groups because of announcement of the Eid holiday. The sultan declared earlier that he would be on September 12 day of L’aid El Kabir for all Muslims in the country.
