How to balance hormones with essential oils?

Synthetic hormone therapy, unfortunately, causes many side effects, complicates the work of the liver and kidneys, masks the symptoms and causes addiction. If you agree that it is better to use the power of nature to balance hormones instead of hormone therapy, then keep on reading.

Essential oils

Today we want to share with you the information on how to normalize the hormones using essential oils. Knowing the therapeutic properties of the oils, you can easily balance the production of hormones such as cortisol, progesterone, estrogen, and also improve the thyroid gland and stimulate the production of testosterone.

The more scientists study the properties of essential oils, the more they admire the simplicity and effectiveness of their action on our body. Just think about the fact that one drop of essential oil contains 40 million trillion (a number with 19 zeros) molecules. Therefore, there are approximately 40 thousands of oil molecules for each of the 100 trillion cells of the human body! The molecules of essential oils are minuscule; they can freely penetrate through the skin and lungs in the human body and easily get to any point of the body, which may not be available for medications. Also, they tend to clean the surface of receptor cells, improving communication between cells and, consequently, the functional state of the tissues and organs. Essential oils are capable of correcting the errors of the division of the DNA cells and improving the quality of new cells.

You can use essential oils in different ways: inhale, apply on the skin, consume inside, or add to the bath. They have almost no contraindications, except individual intolerance.

Therefore, to balance the functioning of the hormones you can apply the following essential oils: Clary sage, thyme, sandalwood, rose, lavender, frankincense and evening primrose.

Evening Primrose Oil

Evening primrose oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acid Omega-6, which is necessary for the synthesis of prostaglandin E. Prostaglandins are not hormones, but a sort of agents that transmit information between the cells of the body, which help to regulate hormones and cell growth. Without sufficient amount of prostaglandins, the body is more prone to developing blood clots in the blood vessels, high blood pressure, irritation of the digestive tract, inhibited immune function, uncontrolled cell growth, and overweight. One of the most common uses of Evening Primrose oil is a correction of premenstrual syndrome, which manifests as pain in the breasts, fluid retention in the body, sudden mood swings, headaches, and skin problems.
