What do you think would be some romantic gestures? what is romantic anyway?
Sharing the same music with me, while we dance alone, just alone in our world
writhing me really romantic write ups, I mean, just putting what he feels for me on paper. (I could read this a million times when he's not there!)
shopping with me on saturdays, I do the picking while he carries the shopping bag or pulls the trolley
excercising with beads of sweat on him while I watch on!
wispering sweet nothings to me in public, (even if he says nothing)
sharing laughter and smiles with me
sending me texts messages, Just to say 'I love you' and,
No, am not going to say anymore, these should give you an idea of what I consider Romantic!
i think it all depends on some factors depending on the person in question.what some considered as romantic might not be romantic 2 other. To me there is no universal definition of romantic.some look at the phiysical beauty of the woman, some the height, the colour, yet other how intelligence is the person.to others, the way the person talked is a factor
Anything that shows & makes me feel like my girl took time out to think of me in a practical way.
Any practical gift out of the blues,
Being supportive & offering advice in my goals,
An evening stroll around the neighbourhood,
A love note or full letter,
A phone cal or sms just to check on me or to tell me sweet things or encouraging words,
Ironing a shirt for me just cos she wants me to look good,
Picking out what to wear for me,
Surprise visits just to tidy my place for me,
Kisses that don't lead to more than just kisses,
Touch that isn't necessarily sexual,
Fixing us a nice cheap meal with like fruit salad or a milk shake,
Dishing our food in the same plate,
A personal pedicure/manicure
Dressing up to look good for me, staying clean and healthy,
Just being there for each other, be as honest as possible but if they ask you something like does that dress make her a-s-s look big or is my Joystick huge you lie through your teeth. The random thoughtful gift or gesture goes a long way. Comforting each other in times of stress, and even occasionally going completely out of your way to do something small for them.
The small things to me are just as romantic as the big things.
The look from my husband from across the room while at a party.
The touch from him in the small of my back unexpectedly.
The "no reason" flowers
The "no reason" dinner date, or showing up to the office for surprise lunch
Love notes left where i will find them, like my wallet or purse
Opening a car door
cooking dinner before I arrive home
a weekend getaway
clearing the house of children for a me day
