MTN has launched new products that will ensure that its customers enjoy more call time at highly reduced costs in its market segments.
At a media launch in Lagos , the telecoms company announced the new Value Proposition Packages (VPP), which replaced the ones it launched in 2006 when the company introduced five product bundles that will cater for its customers in the various market categories.
One of the major highlights of the new packages is free weekend calls, a new development in the telecommunications environment. In the Funlink segment, a customer makes free calls through the weekend to a registered “best friend”. Both registered “best friends”would be charged only N100 each for this novel service which runs from 12:01am on Saturday to 11:59pm on Sunday. The other market segments offer discounts of up to 80 per cent on calls and services.
