Which form of energy is stored in a dry cell?

3 answers

Dry cells generate electricity and the first one of them came around back in the 19th century. They produce this type of energy using chemical processes. The first battery used zinc and manganese dioxide to produce the desired reaction. Presently they have a zinc container filled with sal-ammoniac paste. The electric current passes through the liquid from anode to cathode. That is how it generates power.
