According to Arsenal manager, Takuma was a gifted youthful striker with a remarkable career start in Japan. “We truly hope he will do the best for his new team, because it always has been an honor to play for Arsenal. In addition, the manager emphasized that Takuma would train with the first team, notwithstanding the fact that the young Japanese striker has none experience in the Premier League.

By the way, history says that Asano will be the third footballer from Japan in Wenger`s Arsenal, besides prominent midfielders Ryo Miyaichi and Junichi Inamoto.
