Amodu Shuaibu lates news

Abdul-Aziz, Amodu’s son, was shocked when he received the news of his father’s death. He told that nobody even informed him that his father was taken to the hospital.  He also added that this year Amodu decided to fast.  Abdul-Aziz thinks that it was unnatural because Amodu stopped fasting due to his health condition for the past few years.

Amodu’s cousin, Akuri Afegbua, said the former Eagles coach died after complaints of chest pain and his inability to get the money Nigeria Football Federation owed him. As the federation’s technical director, Amodu was reportedly on N800,000 per month but without an office and official accommodation.

The Edo State Commissioner said that Amodu complained of chest pain, and they called a doctor who checked his blood pressure. The doctor advised Amodu to take his drugs and stop participating in the Ramadan fasting. He was discovered dead in his room at about 4.00 a.m.
