Nigeria or Abroad, where do you prefer to spend your Christmas?
I'd say I prefer Nigeria where weather is warm unlike UK where it is cold from November to February: we can't go out but have to chill inside the house.
It was reported yesterday that newly born "white" twins were abandonned in Birmingham.

ARE NIGERIAN 'GRADUATES' REALLY GRADUATES IN THE REAL SENSE OF THE WORD?
I keep wondering the kind of stuff that Nigerian universities are producing. A friend of mine who studied engineering in NAU and graduated with a 2-1 confessed to me that he doesn't know anything when it comes to engineering. How come?
I was really embarrassed the other day, when I was discussing with some economics undergraduates here in the UK. I'm supposed to be a Masters student here but I felt like a fool because I’m afraid I knew nothing about the topics they raised owing to the fact that I was under-educated in Nigeria.
More appalling was the day I couldn't help but overhear a so-called psychologist spitting poo. He made so many grammatical blunders that I denied my nationality. I became an emergency Congolese.
What is your take on these, guys?
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BECOME CISCO NETPRO through online training
I am in the UK, just came in actually from Nigeria. I was looking for work through advert placements on the paper and came across this www.skills-train.co.uk.(check it out), I registered on-line on my interest and in a week I got a phone call and the next thing thisyoung chap, cool guy comes to my house, tell me about the options, he adviced that I go for the CISCONETPRO because I studied Mathematics.
To be honest the only thing I can do with my laptop is browse, type, draw a little basically not too much. The package looks good though, promises of getting me a job once I get certified.
The programme he mentioned, will start with a foundation in CompTIA N+ certification programme then CCNA, CCNP and all training is done on-line, one practical session every 2 months. I was informed I don't need to go for the practicals. Then I will be assigned to a Phone tutour.
My problem is I have never had on-line training before, and I don't know how I am going to cope with it. Then I have to sign a contract, this means no going back if I don't like what I get this will cost £70 each month for 34 months. I need some expert advice on this issue.
Please can anyone tell us why a Nigerian is yet to make a financial success of the Internet. And NO, it's not because of Low Internet penetration in Nigeria. Nigerians in diaspora make up a huge market for a potential Nigeria based online business. So what is the problem? Is it that we like easy money(from Govt. contracts and 419) or what? or that we do not know how to run a proper business (no business continuity)?
Yet so many of us are turning over millions for Top notch IT firms, financial firms and public sector organisations, from the UK, USA all the way to Australia. So what is the problem?
If we cannot answer these question, then we have a long long way to go.
